SO full from dinner @bottegalouie. Had comped Clam pizza (much appreciated since wait was long), Sausage pizza, Eggplant Parmesan (looked like meat patties, but had similar flavor to the lasagna. Wouldn’t really miss meat w/ that dish), Lasagna Bolognese, Club (loved the cheese and apple smoked bacon), Penne Gamber (great sauce), Tagliatele Bolognese. Ate fam style w/ 5 ppl and had enough...

First time I’ve ever had Indonesian food. My fav things were the lemper, Nasi Kuning, and Ayam Goreng. Empal was tasty, but a bit dry. Wish the Bacem Tempe had some sort of sauce. Overall the experience was enjoyable. I’ve never seen so many food bloggers in one place before.
Pho Filet
Went to Pho Filet yesterday for dinner. Spring rolls weren’t fantastic. The dipping sauce was too thick for my taste and it was like dipping in peanut butter. The Meat in my #16 pho was high quality and tasty, but I wasn’t a fan of the soup. It’s too sour for my taste. I’m hoping to try Pho Minh next to compare. I hear the soup is excellent there.
Had to make up for awful Chun-li movie by playing Street Fighter. Fingers tired from button mashing
It’s the second time I’ve seen this woman on the subway this week. It’s about 90 degrees and both times she wore all black: shoes, pants, cap, gloves, trench coat. Wonder what kind of job she has….
